GFC – Global Fighter Competition was founded with one clear vision: to build a serious MMA platform where fighters can prove themselves, gain experience, and become part of something bigger.

What started as an idea became a real journey.

GFC is not only about fighting. It is about discipline, respect, ambition, sacrifice, community, and the belief that fighters deserve a stage where they can show who they truly are.

THE FOUNDATION

Built From Experience

The organization was built from a deep connection to combat sports. Its founder, Karim Zedini, experienced the sport himself as a fighter and understood how difficult the path can be — the pressure, the discipline, the preparation, the setbacks, and the courage it takes to step into a fight.

That experience became part of the foundation of GFC.

Not to create just another event, but to build a platform that understands fighters, respects their journey, and gives them a serious stage to prove themselves.

FIRST EVENT

Our First Event at Elysium

The first official step in GFC history took place at Elysium.

This fight was more than just a matchup.

It was the moment where GFC became real.

The first event showed the energy of the fighters, the passion of the team, and the potential behind the organization.

It gave us our first real experience as an MMA promotion and showed us what it truly means to create a fight night from the ground up.

That night became the foundation for everything that followed.

MAY 9

The Qualification Fight Event

The next major chapter was the GFC Qualification Fight Event on May 9, once again held at Elysium.

This event was an important turning point in our development.

We had intense fights, motivated athletes, and a strong atmosphere.

The fighters stepped into the cage with something to prove, and many of them showed real heart, courage, discipline, and fighting spirit.

The May 9 event was full of action. It gave us powerful moments, strong performances, and important lessons.

It showed us how much potential GFC really has.

After careful consideration, we made the decision that all future GFC fights will be contested with 6 oz gloves.

This decision was made to improve fighter safety while keeping the fights intense, competitive, and exciting.
